Applications are Invited in Teachers Recruitment Board, Government of Tamilnadu For The Secondary Grade Teachers for 1st to 5th Standards in Elementary/Middle Schools.
Total Vacancies: 1743 Posts
1. Tamil Medium � Primary 334 Posts, Non Primary � 1349 Posts
2. Telugu Medium � Primary 8 Posts, Non Primary � 32 Posts
3. Urdu Medium � Primary 3 Posts, Non Primary � 9 Posts
4. Kannada Medium � Primary 3 Posts, Non Primary � 5 Posts
Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200 � 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-
Qualification: SSLC upto 31-5-1989, Higher Secondary Course from 1-6-1989 along with Diploma in Teacher Education awarded by Govt of Tamil Nadu or Equivalent.
Employment Registration: Only those who have registered in Employment Exchanges in the state and who hold updated Registration Card are Eligible to Apply.
Age Limit: Should not be over 57 Years as on 1-7-2011.
Application Form: ICR Application Form can be got from District Elementary Educational Officers of each District Free of Cost.
Selection Procedure: Based on Communal Reservation and Seniority of Registration in Employment Exchange.

Sale of Application Forms by the District Elementary Educational Officers � 14 November 2011 (Monday).
Last Date for Sale of Application Form: 23/11/2011 (Wednesday).
Last Date for Submission of Filled-In Applications � 5.45 pm on 23-11-2011 (Wednesday).
Certificate Verification: The Commissionarate of Employment and Training has already sponsored names of eligible candidates in the ratio of 1:5.The list of sponsored candidates and cut off date for each communal turn is posted in TRB website.
