Ajith's production house named as Goodwill Entertainment

Looks like Ajith Kumar who is fondly referred as ‘Thala’ by his fans is the latest one to join the bandwagon of big stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth who have floated their own production houses in Kollywood. Sources close to the actor revealed that Ajith has started a new production house called Goodwill Entertainment and the official producer of the banner is his wife Shalini Ajith Kumar.

The latest buzz is that Ajith has also formally registered the company with the Tamil Film Producers Council.



His close aides say that the actor is open to any new ideas and it will not be just producing only his own movies.

Reportedly when the actor suggested remaking Rajinikanth’s Thee (remake of Bollywood film Deewar) would be a new experience for Tamil audience, the idea did not go well with the industry people at that time. Later his theory was proved right when films like Billa and Naan Avan Illai which were remade and turned out to be a huge hits. Ajith is a visionary man! A director who has known the star for many years now says that he is confident that Ajith will opt for new age cinema and path breaking script.
